Christmas Workshop: Introduction to Lino Print


Date: Sunday 2nd December 2018

Time: 2-4:30pm

Location: Hereford Left Bank Village, at the Etsy Made Local Christmas Market, 2018

Suitable for: Beginners, over 15s only.

In this 2.5hr workshop, you will learn how to create and print a beautiful, one-colour linocut Christmas card design – perfect for gifting over the holidays!

As well as creating your handprinted cards, we will also cover:

• Lino cutting safety
• Materials and where to buy them
• Designing prints
• And how to print more of your pieces at home

All materials will be provided, including one small piece of lino to practice and a bigger piece for your design. Everyone will come away with a set of five hand-printed cards and envelopes. You’ll also get the opportunity to swap prints with your fellow classmates!

About Jenna

Jenna Clark, also known as Skybear, is an illustrator, designer and printmaker based in Cardiff. She is fascinated by nature, with many pieces focusing on flora, fauna and the night sky. Jenna is the artist behind the children’s book “When The Stars Fall”, animal-inspired lino prints and a Mermaid colouring book successfully funded through Kickstarter. You can usually find her at a local food or craft event in Wales.
